The project was conceived with the aspiration of preserving traditional values within a contemporary and sustainable living environment. It represents a harmonious blend of Vietnamese vernacular architecture and modern design thinking, where familiar elements such as tiled roofs, timber structures, and natural materials are reinterpreted through a contemporary architectural language.

A defining feature of the house is its traditional tiled roof, carefully redesigned by MVN Architects to respond to the local climate, optimizing sunlight, natural ventilation, and wind direction while highlighting the timeless beauty of the exposed timber structure and warm terracotta roof tiles. This thoughtful balance between tradition and innovation creates a home that is both culturally rooted and comfortably suited to modern living.

More than simply a residence, the house is a place where cherished memories are created and family values are preserved. It is a heartfelt gift from a son to his mother and grandmother before starting his own family—a meaningful expression of love, gratitude, and respect. Designed to provide warmth, comfort, and a lasting sense of belonging, the home stands as a timeless space where generations can gather and create memories together.

Dự án được hình thành với mong muốn gìn giữ các giá trị truyền thống trong một môi trường sống đương đại và bền vững. Công trình là sự kết hợp hài hòa giữa kiến trúc bản địa Việt Nam và tư duy thiết kế hiện đại; những yếu tố quen thuộc như mái ngói, kết cấu gỗ và vật liệu tự nhiên được diễn giải lại bằng ngôn ngữ kiến trúc đương đại.

Điểm nhấn của ngôi nhà là hệ mái ngói truyền thống được MVN Architects thiết kế lại để thích ứng với khí hậu địa phương, tối ưu ánh sáng, thông gió tự nhiên và hướng gió, đồng thời tôn lên vẻ đẹp bền lâu của kết cấu gỗ lộ và mái ngói đất nung ấm áp. Sự cân bằng giữa truyền thống và đổi mới tạo nên một tổ ấm vừa giàu bản sắc văn hóa, vừa tiện nghi cho cuộc sống hiện đại.

Không chỉ là nơi ở, ngôi nhà còn là nơi lưu giữ những kỷ niệm quý giá và gìn giữ các giá trị gia đình. Đây là món quà đầy tình cảm người con dành tặng mẹ và bà trước khi lập gia đình riêng—một cách thể hiện ý nghĩa tình yêu thương, lòng biết ơn và sự kính trọng.
