The project was conceived with the aspiration of preserving traditional values within a contemporary and sustainable living environment. It represents a harmonious blend of Vietnamese vernacular architecture and modern design thinking, where familiar elements such as tiled roofs, timber structures, and natural materials are reinterpreted through a contemporary architectural language.

A defining feature of the house is its traditional tiled roof, carefully redesigned by MVN Architects to respond to the local climate, optimizing sunlight, natural ventilation, and wind direction while highlighting the timeless beauty of the exposed timber structure and warm terracotta roof tiles. This thoughtful balance between tradition and innovation creates a home that is both culturally rooted and comfortably suited to modern living.

More than simply a residence, the house is a place where cherished memories are created and family values are preserved. It is a heartfelt gift from a son to his mother and grandmother before starting his own family—a meaningful expression of love, gratitude, and respect. Designed to provide warmth, comfort, and a lasting sense of belonging, the home stands as a timeless space where generations can gather and create memories together.
